Trinidad and Tobago to celebrate Diamond independence anniversary at Ontario Place

It’s an all-inclusive fete

“Crave The Event,” an all-inclusive party, will be held on Saturday evening at Ontario Place in Toronto to help kick off Trinidad and Tobago’s 60th independence anniversary celebrations.

(The anniversary date is August 31.)

The party is organized in collaboration with House of Angostura, also known as Angostura Limited, a Trinidad and Tobago company which produces several brands of rum and the world famous Angostura bitters.

Organizers say “Crave The Event” is a “tribute” to Trinidad and Tobago’s “culinary prowess…and rum” and a wide range of the country’s “delicacies and drinks” will be available at the party which begins at 4 p.m. and continues until 10 p.m.
